Pint Kit (1.5 pints total), Quart Kit (1.5 quarts total), Gallon Kit (1.5 gallons total), 2 Gallon Kit (3 gallons total) Epoxy cures faster in warmer conditions, so try raising the ambient temperature using space heaters. Since it's the hardener that dictates the cure speed, you can also try using a fast-speed hardener, if one is available for the particular system you're using. Never add more hardener thinking it'll make the product cure faster – it'll just change the mix ratio and result in an improper cure. Compatibility: Do not use the High Performance Epoxy Resin and High Performance Hardener interchangeably with the epoxy resin and hardener from other 2:1 epoxy systems. Easy to measure and mix using the precalibrated 5:1 Epoxy Pumps, which are color-coded to match the resin or hardener cap.

Be sure to use the solvent specified by the manufacturer. Certain solvents will be better for warm or colder conditions; others are used specifically for brushing or spray applications.

Varnish is the most popular finish because it puts the beauty of the wood grain front and center, producing the highest gloss and greatest depth. It’s also the most durable finish, shielding wood from all the things it’s exposed to on a boat–grease, dirt, oil, water, salt, sun, and pollution.
