These inserts are popular for more shallow flanges like the Elvie as they are short enough to fit the flanges without requiring modification.

You can use most handsfree bra with your original 24 mm detachable shields having this insert inside. By using the correct size breast shield / insert you can avoid numerous complications such as pain, abrasions, and discomfort while you're pumping breast milk.

The 21mm inserts were designed to fit into the 28mm flanges with all breast pumps (except Freemie SlimFit), including the Original Elvie pump.
