Description

This book helps teach girls to love and be proud of who they are as a girl/woman and to go live their dreams! A diverse selection of girls is represented in the pictures, including wheelchair users, girls wearing head coverings and a girl with no hair at all. As we make progress, let every design drawn and every brick laid be a testament to the fusion of tradition and innovation, where creativity lays the foundation for a brighter, more resilient tomorrow. Living courageously and curiously, with intentionality and authenticity, defines the life force that propels me forward. So dive into the colourful pages of this picture book to explore all the wonderful and amazing things girls can do and remember to dream BIG !

Through bright-coloured and cheerful illustration, the book shows the limitless possibilities on what girls can do and be. The endpapers at the end of the book also explores more aspiring women with an added description of their achievements. I don't usually review books that I read with my children, since we get library books out every three weeks and read 3 a night 😂However this book was awesome and came at just the right time, as my 4 year old daughter has just started to say things like "girls can't do that," or "that's for boys. There aren’t just a handful of jobs that girls can do but a whole variety and the book really informs young readers of the amazing things they can do when they are grown up. Dreamworks' She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is all about the power, fierceness, and realness of women. Disclaimer: I received this book from the publishers and as always all opinion and words are my own. Ebooks fulfilled through Glose cannot be printed, downloaded as PDF, or read in other digital readers (like Kindle or Nook).

Written in rhyme, it is a book about how girls can do anything from being an astronaut to a deep-sea diver and everything in-between. With engaging and accessible text and delightful illustrations throughout, Ladies First is sure to educate, entertain, and inspire! What it taught me though was that I am creative; I deal with novel problems and provide creative solutions almost every day.Helping young children to recognise that everyone can follow their own dreams and be a great friend!

All in all, Girls Can Do Anything is a wonderful children's book about girls and what they can achieve if they could dream it – a wonderful encouraging book for girls everywhere with a timeless message. I have read many books in this style, but each one is so different from the last and I always want more of them. May your stones be chiselled with intention, authenticity, and a steadfast commitment to your unique values. Showing the girls they can do anything and watching them all try new things and smash them is so rewarding!

At the end of the book, there are portraits of a few female role models such as Claudia Gordon, Arunima Sinha, and Peng Lei as well as more well-known ones likes Jane Goodall, Serena Williams, and Malala Yousafzai. With beautiful illustrations that also remind us of some of the most successful women in the world in different professions!

I really like that this book focuses on many things you wouldn’t ‘expect’ girls to do, but inspires them they can do anything they put their mind to because ‘I’m a girl! I am a pretty big believer in the power of subliminal encouragement, so I’m never afraid of having my girls reading books that will empower them to be, and believe, and achieve more – whatever ‘more’ might be! So, let's celebrate creativity not just as an artistic flair but as a tool for problem-solving, adaptability, and future-proofing.There is also an online community of support, with a number of online groups that offer support with meeting ideas and solutions. What they have in common is that they are all happily absorbed in whatever it is that they wish to do. Girls Can Do Anything is a children's picture book written by Caryl Hart and illustrated by Ali Pye. Ultimately, She-Ra is a show about how different young women step up into leadership roles, learn about themselves, and make a positive difference in each other’s lives and their world. This is a colourful, short book with a powerful and engaging message delivered through bright, bold images and a fun ‘story’ line.
