The weather was atrocious the week we stayed but it didn't matter, the cottage was spacious and the birds and wildlife kept us entertained during the week. Alles bestens, eine schöne erholsame Woche in einem komfortablen Haus, mit allem was man braucht, bei sehr netten Leuten. It has the benefit of walking into abersoch via beach or road but also a quiet location to relax from the hustle and bustle .

Lane End is a great property in a lovely location with sea views and within walking distance of the beach and the town of Abersoch.And the historic Bembridge Windmill, owned by the National Trust is the only remaining windmill on the island and is open to the public. Thank you so much for your feedback, it was lovely to see you both again and to know that you enjoyed your stay. Great local pubs within walking distance - if you want good food and a great atmosphere try the Old Village Inn on the high street!

Historic Dunwich, once a busy medieval port but long since disappeared under the waves, is 6 miles away and has a beautiful beach and picturesque heath. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay I think because the cottage was my mum and dads home it has that home feel to it especially at it still contains their lovely memories from places they had visited. Lovely comfortable cottage, very well equipped kitchen and lots of books/games in case of wet weather.
