Although I’m not a fan of oud-based fragrances anymore, I do feel that the oud accord would bring out another dimension, round up the composition, and give it more punch since in the end, this release is not a summer fragrance no matter what Mancera’s marketing team would like you to believe. A very nice fragrance if you aren’t expecting lemon or mint and want a generally great unisex fragrance. The lemon is balanced by a creamy almond and is not something you usually see in warmer weather fragrances which this one is trying to be. My first mancera and its definitely a much to love fragrance that has a lot of complexity and uniqueness to it. Established by French parfumeur, Pierre Montale, in 2008, Mancera embodies elegance Their perfumes are composed of the finest ingredients and bottled in Art Deco-inspired flacons.

You may think this one turns into a skin scent after a few hours but it projects and gets noticed even if you go noseblind to it. One evening when I went to get something to eat my roommate put this before he and his girl went out.

Lastly, please don't spray your neck are with this, or else you will induce a headache and choke yourself out. Oud is a very divisive scent and if you do not like other oud-heavy fragrances like 'Oud Wood' do not judge ALM as it is a very light and playful oud scent. This is my first niche fragrance and I'm looking forward to getting more mancera fragrances in the future especially if they are all as good as this one. There is something cool about this fragrance and I think that’s why it has mint in its name, but I don’t get any mint from this whatsoever.

I do not own a lot of Mancera fragrances but the first thing I can say the names of some fragrances are weird. Under no circumstances will we ever replicate, duplicate or copy any brand logo or trademarks nor infringe on intellectual property rights of these companies. First time I saw this discounted I passed, the name just sounded like a train wreck, aoud, lemon and mint? My closing statement is i have many designer fragrances and i do love most of them but Mancera Aoud lemon mint and Cedrat Boise are readily available for under 90 usd and they both totally destroy 95% of designer fragrances in terms of quality and performance.

This is not bright and uplifting given the name, it's more like a dark spooky lemon scent if that makes sense. I guess I’m not the only one who thought there might be something special here, and another smash hit from Mancera.It's strong enough for winter, but I would not recommend this on a hot summer day unless you want to choke someone out.
