Jake hopes to raise £20,000 by visiting Olympic venues by bike

A 12-year-old boy has begun a gruelling cycling challenge which will see him cover 2,012km. Jake Phipps, of Kersoe, near Elmley Castle, will visit every Olympic venue from Glasgow to London during his five-week trip.

£25,000 sporting boost to village

THE next phase of development at the sports ground in Bredon is set to go ahead after a funding boost of £25,000. Wychavon councillors voted to use ‘Section 106’ money received from the developers of the village’s Blenheim Drive.
