TWO friends from Ashton-under-Hill who set up their own grounds maintenance business a few months ago have seen their business snowball.

Dave Hunting and Graham Keeling, who have known each other for 10 years, launched Bredon Hill Grounds Maintenance at the end of 2011.

The experienced pair have an impressive array of garden machinery at their disposal to carry out all aspects of garden and grounds work, large or small.

They are able to carry out all aspects of tree work, shrub pruning, garden maintenance, grass cutting, hedge cutting, fencing and sports ground maintenance.

Dave, aged 31, said the partnership came about after they carried out a successful contract together last year.

“We seemed to get more and more work and it’s just snowballed from there,” he said.

Twenty-nine-year-old Graham added: “One job leads to another job all the time.”

Dave and Graham are fully insured and qualified – and are extremely reliable. Dave is also currently carrying out a landscaping course at Pershore College.

They tend to carry out jobs within approximately a five-mile radius of their base in Ashton-under-Hill but will consider other work.

“We will do people’s gardens but we will also do larger jobs,” added Dave. “Between us we’ve got 30 years of experience in grounds maintenance and machinery.”

The fledgling business is also well on the way towards becoming a Wychavon Approved Contractor.
