About Us

Bredon Hill View aims to provide a focal point for the dozen or so villages and hamlets around the Hill. This community consists of more than 3,000 homes and over 7,000 residents and we want to help you get the most out of living in such a beautiful part of the world.

Bredon Hill View intends to be a source of genuinely local news and information at a time when the established media seem to be less and less connected to local life. And while people may be well aware of what’s going on in their own village, they don’t necessarily know what’s happening in other villages around the hill, with which they have so much in common.

Our hope is that we will provide something a little different, with up-to-date news about life in the Bredon Hill villages, village history and memories, schools news, sports reports, church news and information about virtually every aspect of local life.

Another feature of the website will be its Business Directory. This will not just be the usual list of local businesses with contact details or even your typical advertisements. Instead it will include interesting and informative features – with a particular focus on family-owned and managed businesses – to help you make informed decisions about using their services.

The website is brought to you by an experienced journalist in partnership with a leading website developer, both of whom live in Bredon Hill villages.

We hope that over the years Bredon Hill View will grow to become an established part of the community – but we need your help. We will be delighted to receive news items or contributions from clubs, societies or individuals which we will be glad to feature on the website where appropriate. We would also be pleased to receive your feedback about our website and how it can be improved.

We hope you will spend many happy hours sitting back at your computer…and enjoying the View.
