CYCLISTS have still got time to get on their bikes and get involved in this year’s Bredon Hill Bikeaway.
The event, which is being organised by the Pershore Division of St John Ambulance and supported by Wychavon District Council, takes place on Sunday, October 21, leaving from Pershore College.
There are three routes suitable for all ages and capabilities that range from eight to 49 miles and this year they have an Olympic theme, being named the bronze, silver and gold routes.
Tony Haines, superintendent of the Pershore division, said: “We are delighted to have been invited to take our popular fund-raising event to Pershore College.
“Please come along and enjoy the delightful countryside whilst also supporting the work that we do, bring your friends and family who can take advantage of the facilities and attractions the college has to offer such as the plant centre and refreshments which will be available throughout the day.”
