Want to ‘Get out and Play’ and try lots of great activities including den building, sports, arts and other active play opportunities for free?
Leading play provider Play Gloucestershire are bringing their innovative and experienced play ranger team to Bredon Playing Fields tomorrow (Wednesday, August 8th), from 10am to 4pm.
The Play Rangers arrive on site fully equipped with a range of activities for young people to choose from.
Play Gloucestershire work outdoors whatever the weather, helping children enjoy the natural world. The activities encourage healthy lifestyles and Play Gloucestershire’s Play Rangers provide children, young people and families with memorable days of adventure, friendship and fun.
Malcolm Dunn, chairman of Bredon Community Play and Recreation, who are working with Play Gloucestershire, said: “It is really exciting to have Play Gloucestershire’s Play Ranger team running a couple of free play days in Bredon this summer.
“They offer a fantastic range of opportunities that children and families can enjoy. This is part of our continuing work at Bredon Playing Fields to make it a great place for sport and recreation. We hope lots of people will come along and get involved.”
Bredon Community Play and Recreation is a voluntary group that aims to create more informal opportunities for a wide cross section of the local community.
It delivered the regeneration project in 2011 and runs a range of events and activities on the local playing fields, most recently the very successful ‘Olympic Fun Day’ in July.
